In order to obtain a fast growth in air time, Vietnam Television has invested dramatically in its professional and modern technical infrastructure including

+ over 10 studios with sizes from 54m2 to 650m2,

+ one 3D virtual studio using 2 cameras,

+ one full digital news room for simultanous access by up to 20 reporters and live telecast on 2 channel server;

+ OB Vans intergrated with 4 to 6 digital camera

The digitization  covers up to 40% of its technical facilities. VTV plans to reach full digitization by the year 2010.

Besides, VTV has successfully developed and maintained a large national transmission network including parallel Digital Ku-Band and C-Band Satellite carriages and hundreds of relay stations in order to ensure 90% of coverage of the Vietnamese territory as well as VTV4 reception in most of continents in the world.
